Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 22: *Season Finale* "As I Lay Dying"

Sadly, I did not watch the season finale. My friends did fill me in on the low-down, but I'm not going to ruin a recap for you guys by trying to remember everything they told me. So, without further ado, here's the recap of the Season 2 finale for Vampire Diaries:

The episode opens with Elena watching Jeremy sleeping. She goes into Jenna's room, but when she leaves she discovers Damon waiting for her. He apologizes for feeding her his blood and says that although he doesn't deserve her forgiveness, he needs it. Elena says that she needs time and Damon sadly tells her to take all the time she needs. He returns home and gets a drink, before opening the curtains. He takes off his ring and stands in the daylight with his arms stretched out, so he begins to burn. However, Stefan arrives and pushes him back into the shadows. He refuses to let Damon kill himself and forces him into the cellar. He says he has Bonnie looking for a cure, but Damon tells him just to say goodbye now. As he begins to cough up blood, Stefan tells him to rest.

Meanwhile, Klaus wakes up naked in some woods. Elijah explains that he was a werewolf for two days, even when the full moon went. Klaus is happy that he can transform at will and smiles as he reveals that he remembers every kill. Elijah reminds him that they have a bargain - he wants to see the family members Klaus killed. Klaus says that he will follow through with the deal soon enough. Elsewhere, Alaric gets drunk at the Mystic Grill but is surprised when Stefan calls and reveals that Damon is dying. He agrees to help out. Meanwhile, Jeremy and Elena arrive at a special outdoor screening of Gone With The Wind. Jeremy is unconvinced but Elena explains that they need to keep living normal lives until Jenna's death isn't so hard to deal with. Caroline arrives with picnic food and tries to keep their spirits up.

Stefan and Bonnie go to the witches' house and Bonnie explains that she will try to summon Emily. Emily ends up possessing her body and Stefan asks how to heal a werewolf bite. Emily refuses to give him an answer, explaining that there is a natural balance to everything and maybe Damon deserves to die. She does hint that there is a cure, though. Suddenly, Bonnie screams and clutches her head. She explains that the witches don't want her there as she is abusing their power. However, she reveals that she heard them saying that Klaus is key to the cure. Meanwhile, at the police station, Carol Lockwood tells Sheriff Liz Forbes that she is unhappy with her progress in ridding the town of vampires. Liz insists that she is handling it but Carol threatens to replace her if she doesn't get some results soon.

Stefan arrives at the screening and pulls Elena aside to talk. He explains that Damon has a werewolf bite and admits that he could die. Elena is upset that she pushed Damon aside when he tried to apologize earlier and Stefan explains that he wanted her to know in case she wants to talk to him. He explains that he is going to speak to Klaus to find a cure, adding that if Klaus wanted him dead he would have killed him by now. He points out that he was the one who made Damon a vampire and he owes it to him to find a cure. Back at the Salvatore house, Damon has a flashback and remembers speaking to Katherine in the 1860s. She asks if he will miss her while he is off fighting and he says he will, but points out that she will still have Stefan. Katherine asks if it is so wrong for her to want them both. However, Damon hallucinates that Elena has joined them. Elena tells him that Katherine was just toying with him and he could have walked away - he had a choice. Back in the present, Damon realizes that his bite is getting worse.

Stefan goes over to Alaric's apartment to see Katherine, who is furious that she is still under Klaus's compulsion and can't leave the building. Stefan asks where Klaus is, but at that moment Klaus and Elijah arrive. Stefan announces that he needs Klaus's help but Klaus explains that first he has to stick by his deal to Elijah. Elijah explains that his brother gave his word that he would reunite him with his family, but Klaus suddenly appears behind him, saying: "So I shall." He stabs Elijah with the dagger and white ash, killing him. He turns on Stefan and stakes him close to his heart, taunting him that if he moves just slightly he will be killed. Stefan promises to do whatever Klaus wants if he gives him the cure for Damon. However, Klaus admits that he doesn't know whether Stefan will be any use to him. Later, Klaus talks about Stefan's murderous past, although Stefan says he hasn't been like that for years. However, Klaus says that's the kind of vampire he could make a deal with. He calls Katherine over and bites her, shocking her as she realizes she now has a werewolf bite. He then feeds her his blood and she heals so that Stefan realizes that Klaus' blood is the cure. Klaus says they should begin to talk.

Over at the Salvatore house, Alaric brings Damon some alcohol. Damon asks if Stefan sent him on suicide watch, adding that Stefan is just trying to right the wrongs of the past. He adds that Alaric should hate him as he is the reason Jenna is dead, but Alaric says he doesn't blame Damon. Damon adds that he also turned Isobel into a vampire. He heads over to the door and begins strangling Alaric through the bars, begging him to kill him. Alaric croaks: "Screw you" and stabs Damon with a syringe, causing him to collapse on the floor asking for Elena. Elena arrives at the house, but as she tries to go in Liz appears and covers her mouth, telling her not to make a sound. Back in the cellar, Damon asks for blood, but when Alaric goes to get it Liz appears and asks for Damon. Alaric tells her it's not a good time, but one of Liz's colleagues finds him and calls for her. They see Damon lying on the floor and break in, but when they do Damon is no longer on the ground. Instead, he is standing against a wall. He throws Liz against the wall and heads out. Alaric calls Jeremy, who is at the Gone With The Wind screening with Bonnie and Caroline. Jeremy admits that Elena went to see Damon and Alaric warns that he's in bad shape and the cops are after him. He advises Jeremy to get Elena somewhere safe if he finds her. Bonnie tells Jeremy to wait behind, but Jeremy refuses, saying that for once they can't stop him from getting involved.
Elsewhere, Liz takes Elena to the police station and hears that Damon has been spotted in town. Elena tells her that she is wrong to hate the vampires, but Liz points out that they are murderers. Elena begs to accompany her when she goes to get Damon, explaining that he is sick, but Liz asks a guard to make sure Elena is kept at the station. Meanwhile, Damon arrives at the screening and hallucinates, thinking he is seeing Katherine. Jeremy finds him and helps him into the Mystic Grill. Inside, Jeremy calls someone to tell them they are at the Grill. Liz arrives and shoots at Damon, but he rushes off quickly and the bullet hits Jeremy. Liz is shocked and, at that moment, Caroline and Bonnie arrive. Bonnie points out that Jeremy's ring won't work because he was hurt by a human, not a supernatural creature. Caroline feeds Jeremy her blood - much to her mother's shock - but it doesn't work. Bonnie realises that she knows what to do and takes him away with Alaric, who has just arrived. Meanwhile, back at the station, Elena uses a chair to smash the window and escape.

Alaric and Bonnie take Jeremy to the witches' house and Bonnie tries to use the power of the old witches to revive Jeremy. She casts a spell but begins to worry as the other witches are angry at her for returning and don't want to help. She says there will be consequences, and Alaric tells her to get them to shut up as Jeremy is just a kid. Bonnie continues to cast the spell but her nose begins to bleed and she sobs. She calls to Emily, begging her to help as she loves Jeremy. However, the candles go out. Bonnie sobs as she believes Jeremy is dead for good, but then he wakes up. Bonnie hugs him and thanks Emily for helping. Later, she calls Caroline, who informs Liz that Jeremy is alive. Liz is confused as she thought she killed him, and Caroline explains that she did. She adds that she explained before but had to make Liz forget as she was worried about what she might do. She announces that she doesn't want to lie or be afraid anymore and takes Liz's hand. She says she is still her little girl and the pair hug, crying.

Over at Alaric's apartment, Klaus pours his blood into a vial and asks Stefan if he is ready for a "decade-long bender". Stefan insists that isn't who he is anymore and Klaus is disappointed, saying he would have been a good wingman. He begins to pour the blood away until Stefan stops him. Klaus is pleased and throws him a blood bag, telling him to drink. He adds that he has to finish it all, saying that if Stefan does everything he says, he will save Damon. Stefan drinks it, but Klaus passes him another blood bag and tells him to continue.

Elena runs through the screening looking for Damon. She finds him and drags him away, but as she does Damon gets confused, mixing the present with the past, when he chased Katherine through some woods. He remembers begging Katherine to feed him her blood so they could be together forever. Back in the present, he tries to bite Elena as she begs him to stop, explaining that he is hurting her. Damon suddenly appears to return to the present but collapses. Elena cradles him, while also covering her neck with her hand. She takes Damon back home and when he wakes up, he tells her to leave as he could hurt her. Elena refuses to go and climbs on to the bed with him, cradling him in her arms. She says: "It's OK", but Damon tells her that it's not. He says he blamed Stefan for years but no-one forced him to love Katherine. He asks Elena to tell Stefan he is sorry and Elena promises as she begins to cry.

Jeremy returns home and searches on the internet for "back from the dead". Bonnie speaks to him on webcam and he admits that he feels weird, but Bonnie points out that he has just been brought back from the dead and it's bound to feel strange. She jokes that he can thank her "tomorrow and the next day and the next day". They say good night and Alaric appears, explaining that he's going to head off. However, seeing how Jeremy looks, he decides to stay the night. Jeremy thanks him for everything he has done. However, Alaric teases Jeremy by revealing that he overheard Bonnie's suggestion that he thank her "tomorrow and the next day and the next day".

Over at Alaric's apartment, Stefan is hungrily feeding on blood bags but refuses to drink any more until Klaus sorts out the cure. Klaus tells him that he has a choice to make - he can remain in Mystic Falls, or he can embrace what he truly is, leave town with Klaus, and save Damon's life. Stefan takes another blood bag and begins to drink. Klaus calls over Katherine and compels her to take his blood to Damon and come right back - but she is still on vervain. Katherine rushes off as Stefan worries that she will never deliver the cure to Damon. Meanwhile, Damon is still in bed with Elena and suggests he deserves to die. However, he says that if he had made different choices he wouldn't have met her. He apologizes for everything he's done to her, but Elena says she forgives him and lies down next to him. Damon tells her he knows she will always love Stefan, but adds that he loves her. Elena begins to cry and says she knows that. Damon croaks that if she had met him in 1864 she would have liked him, but Elena says she likes him now just the way he is. Damon closes his eyes and she kisses him. "Thank you," he says. However, Katherine appears and says he should be thanking her as she brought the cure. She says she decided to deliver it because she owed Damon. Elena asks after Stefan, but Katherine asks if she really cares. Eventually, she reveals that Stefan is paying for the cure. She explains that he gave himself over to Klaus and sacrificed everything - including Elena - to save Damon. However, she tells Elena that at least she will have Damon to keep her company. "It's OK to love them both," she adds. "I did." She throws the cure at Damon and walks away.

Elsewhere, Klaus shuts the lid of Elijah's coffin and tells some undertakers to put him with "the others". Stefan receives a text from Elena, explaining that Damon is OK and asking where he is. Klaus asks if Katherine made it in time, and reveals that he knew she was on vervain. However, he adds that she won't get very far and adds that Stefan will help him with that. Stefan asks what he wants and Klaus promises that everything will be explained once they leave town. He adds that he has a gift for Stefan and calls over a terrified young girl. He explains that he wants to make sure Stefan will be of use to him and bites her neck. He adds that he could have compelled the woman but a "real ripper enjoys the hunt". He throws her away and she runs away screaming, but Stefan rushes in front of her and drains her of blood until she collapses on the floor. Klaus is impressed and says that they can leave now.

The episode ends with Jeremy, who believes he has heard a sound. He thinks it is Alaric, but as he looks over the stairs, someone appears behind him. They soon disappear again. He walks downstairs but is shocked to see Anna standing in the kitchen. When he turns around, Vicky is standing there.

Caroline and Matt find Tyler on her front porch where Tyler seems confused to see Caroline. Is it just me or is Matt grinding anyone else’s gears?

Elijah tells Stefan that he is very honorable. Stefan asks Elijah if he is honorable because it seems suspicious that he is going up against his own brother. Elijah tells Stefan that he had more family, but Klaus killed them all. Elijah then tells Stefan that there is sometimes honor in revenge and he will not fail him.

Elena tells Jenna to focus on what Stefan and Klaus are saying when Stefan arrives. Jenna tells Elena that Stefan will take her place.

Matt tells Caroline he doesn’t know if he can get past her being a vampire. Matt tells her that he has a sucky life, but he wants to live a normal one and not a paranormal one.

Greta pours blood, I’m thinking its Jenna’s, into a pot. Stefan apologizes to Elena, but she quickly shushes him. Klaus tells Elena it’s time. Klaus thanks Elena, but she quickly snaps a “Go to hell” at him. Klaus bites her and starts to suck her blood, where she willingly lets him. Elena drops to the ground as Klaus is done and Klaus starts his transformation under the full moon. Bonnie walks in and starts her casting while Damon snaps Greta’s neck. Klaus sees Bonnie is not dead as she tortures him. Damon takes Elena and Stefan tells him he is not leaving until he knows Klaus is dead. Bonnie stops and Elijah walks up to Klaus. Klaus tells Elijah that their family is safe and Elijah is reluctant to kill him. Elijah apologizes to Stefan and Bonnie and takes Klaus.

John hands Jeremy things to give to Elena and tells him that they need to take care of each other. Damon brings Elena to the house and Damon whispers to her that he can’t stand her hating him for eternity. Alaric asks about Jenna; Damon apologizes to Jeremy about it. Elena wakes up unscathed as John leaves the house and falls to the ground.

Tyler awakes in Caroline’s house and discovers he was shot. Tyler tells Caroline that she was right and he never should have come back. Caroline tells him that he shouldn’t leave again and that Matt had broken up with her. Tyler thanks her for taking care of him.

They get ready for John’s funeral and Jeremy hands Elena what John wanted to give to her, his ring and a letter. Elena apologizes to Jeremy for losing so many people. He counters that he still has her and they hug.

In John’s letter, he apologizes for failing her. He says that it’s the end for him, but the beginning for her. They go to the cemetery and you hear John asking her to not forgive this, but forget it. He tells her that he will always love her as a vampire or a human.

Damon shows Stefan his wolf bite. Stefan says he will find a cure for Damon. Damon tells Stefan to keep this from Elena because she doesn’t need any more grieving.

Tell me what you think! What do you think will happen in the season finale?

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 20: "The Last Day"

We open up with Elijah discussing with Stefan and Elena about how the curse will be broken. If Klaus goes through with breaking the curse, Klaus will be a true hybrid. He only has the vampire part of him right now. Elijah reveals that Klaus has to drink he blood of a doppelganger until her death. Elijah has a potion for Elena to drink. She will die, but be brought back.

Elijah asks why Elena wants to do this. She replies that Klaus will hurt people if she doesn't sacrifice herself. Jenna tries to hurt Alaric with a crossbow because she thinks he is still Klaus. He tells her about their first night together which causes her to believe it is really him.

Tyler visits his mom in the hospital after he hears that she has had a terrible accident. Got to say I'm excited he's back! Matt is still spazzing out that Caroline is a vampire. I have a bet with a friend that she will stay with Matt...now I'm regretting my side. Matt and Caroline's mom try to work through what to do, but Caroline's mom tells him she shouldn't have brought him into it and tells him that she will handle it.
Damon tells Elena that he seems to have no say in the decision of her sacrificing herself. He tells her that he can't lose her and Elena reassures him that he won't. Before Elena can leave, Damon vamps out and forces Elena to drink his blood. Stefan attacks Damon after finding out what he had done and Damon essentially stabs him. Jenna, Alaric, and Elena nurse Stefan back into health after Elijah tells Damon that the elixir is now useless and Elena will not forgive him anytime soon.

Tyler and Jules run into Caroline. Caroline and Tyler talk about how they each are and why Tyler never said goodbye to her. They each are knocked unconcious by Klaus' witch and warlock.

Damon and Alaric run into Klaus. Klaus threatens Damon to not do anything he'll regret. Damon tries the charm with "postponing" Klaus' sacrifice. Klaus tells him that he has his witch, his vampire, and his wolf. All he needs now is the doppelganger and the sacrifice will happen that night.

Stefan takes Elena to a waterfall and tries to talk to her about her having her last day as a vampire. Say what? Damon goes to Alaric's to try and kill Klaus' wolf. Katherine reveals to him that Klaus nabbed Caroline and Tyler for his vampire and wolf, and locked them up in the tomb.

Stefan tells Elena that the worst part of being a vampire is getting out of control and that he's still trying to deal with it. Klaus asks Katherine what she has been doing with compulsion, but gets nothing from her. Klaus asks Katherine to take off her bracelet and to go walk over to the window in stand in the sunlight where she burns. Klaus tells her to get out of the sunlight, relieving the thought she might be lying about being compelled.
Damon is attacked by a warlock when he tries to go to the tomb, but is saved by...Matt? Matt tells Damon that he wants to help Caroline because he loves her. Damon knocks him out with his gun.

Caroline tells Tyler about the curse and what Klaus will do to them. Tyler tells Caroline that Jules helped Tyler come to terms with what he was and none of it matters now. Caroline confronts him about why he did not say goodbye. Tyler replies that she hated him and deserved better than him. Caroline reassures him that she doesn't hate him. Damon saves the day and Tyler is told that Matt knows about Caroline being a vampire.

Elena tells Stefan that she doesn't want to be a vampire and that she's too young to know what she wants to do. Klaus is ready to take Elena when Stefan and her get home. Elena tells him that he doesn't need to get hurt. They both say their 'I love yous' and a meaningful kiss before Elena goes off with Klaus. Stefan tells Damon that Klaus took Elena.

Tyler starts to go through the transformation, where he almost attacks Caroline and Damon. Damon stays with Tyler to watch over them while Caroline and Matt get away.

Klaus gives Elena to a witch and realizes Damon was invited in. Klaus tries to push Damon with talking about his feelings towards Elena. Klaus shows Damon that he captured Jules just in case one of the Salvatore brothers rescues Caroline and Tyler. Klaus tricked Damon into coming for him to be his back-up vampire.

Caroline and Matt get into Tyler's family cellar to protect themselves. Elena goes into the sacrifical circle where she finds Jenna who is going through the transition of becoming a vampire, where she will be the back-up vampire instead. Katherine asks Damon what is on his hand and reveals that it is a werewolf bite.

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 19: "Klaus"

Elena is with Elijah when he awakens and his first word is "Katerina." Cute, yes, but very suspicious. There is something wrong though and he races out of the house. It is then understood that since Elijah wasn't invited into the house, he was pushed out. Elijah wonders if Elena can be trusted. She hands him back the dagger they killed him with. There is a flashback to 1492 where we see Elijah being introduced to Katherine by Klaus.

After Elena leaves with Elijah to confirm a trust with him, Stefan realises they are both gone and tells her to come home over the home. Elena says she knows what she is doing and to respect her decision. Elena hands Elijah the phone and they make a stop at the Lockwood home for clothes. As the episode progresses, we learn the ultimate secret...Elijah and Klaus are brothers! Elijah says that his family is apart of one of the original families in which vampires were created. He then reveals that other than the dagger, nothing can kill an original. Therefore, an original walking out in the sunlight doesn't hurt them. Why does Klaus need to break he sun/moon curse then if he can walk in sunlight? It's fake.

Stefan goes to see Jenna because Klaus, in Alaric's body, is going to see her. He is too late though and Klaus is already in the house. Klaus asks Jenna if she believes in vampires and says he's obsessed with him. Stefan pushes Klaus against the wall and tells Jenna to go with his vampiric face. Elena leaves Elijah for a moment to comfort Jenna and tells her that not only do vampires exist, but everyone around her knows about it.

Klaus made up the curse, but still needs the doppelganger. He wants every immortal (witch, vampire, werewolf) looking for her to release a true curse that's on Klaus. Elijah's mother was having an affair with another man and had Klaus. Elijah's dad killed her lover and his whole family, which created a war between the two species (werewolf and vampire), which is still ensuing. Klaus is half werewolf, but witches dormant that side, however, Klaus wants to bring it forth. The only time to break the curse is during the full moon when he's changing. That is also when he is at his weakest and can be killed.

Damon and Stefan start to fight when the topic of Elena's love comes into play and Stefan finally brings up that Damon is in love with her. Stefan says he will never have her trust and that breaks Damon. Their fight mirrors that of Klaus' and Elijah's fights together. They stop once Elijah and Elena come in and tell them that Elijah knows how to keep her alive and the sacrifice will go on with Bonnie's help. Elijah says he will help if he gets an apology from both Stefan and Damon. Stefan apologizes while Damon tells them to go to hell and walks out. He almost kills his "girlfriend" in a fit of rage and tells her to leave before he does.

We see lastly a witch and, presumably, Maddox, cast a spell which releases Klaus from Alaric's body. They open a large box and out walks present-day Klaus.

Peace and Fangs,
Alisha

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 18: "The Last Dance"

Klaus is still in Alaric's body. *sighs* Great. He compels Katherine to tell him everything that she knows about the other's plan for Klaus. She tells him as much as she can, but doesn't know everything that's going on.

He meets the gang back at the Salvatores' house which is now in Elena's name, so only the people who are safe can come in. Elena tells the others about how a girl told her that a hot guy wants to dance with her at the '60s decade dance. (There are way too many events for this small town.) Klaus also finds out that Bonnie is strong enough to kill Klaus.

Matt is still having a hard time with tricking Caroline that he forgot everything from her compelling when really he drank vervain so that she couldn't compel him.

Jeremy asks Bonnie at the dance if she's absolutely sure she wants to do this and why she wants to do this. Damon overhears them and talks to Bonnie about it. Jeremy tells Stefan about it and Stefan tells Elena. Obviously, Elena confronts Bonnie about the issue and Bonnie asks Elena if she would have done the same for her. When Elena doesn't answer, Bonnie tells her that that is exactly why she has to save her, even if it means killing her.

Bonnie and Elena follow Alaric when he tells them that Jeremy is in trouble. When he leads them into an empty hallway, Elena guesses on who Alaric really is. They flee after Klaus reveals to them that his soul mission tonight is to kill Bonnie. They meet up with Damon and Elena goes off to find Stefan like Damon said.

Damon asks Bonnie if she's ready to kill Klaus. When Stefan and Elena come back, Damon tells them that Bonnie is doing what she has to do and they see she if fighting Klaus. After a few blows, Bonnie is killed by Klaus and he disappears. Elena and Stefan try to find a pulse, but can not. Elena breaks down and Damon tells them to leave and he'll deal with the body.

Damon puts Bonnie in the house where she received her powers and Jeremy comes to visit her. She awakens and Jeremy tells her that she will stay with her. Damon reveals to Elena that Klaus had to think that Bonnie was dead. He tells her that she faked it, but whenever it is between Elena and Bonnie, he will always pick Elena. (Can I say true squee worthy moment?)

At the last scene, we see Elena go into the basement where Elijah is still dead and takes out the stake.

Tell me what you think about what Elena did and any other intense moments from this episode!

Alisha

*LATE UPDATE* Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 17: "Know Thy Enemy"

I missed the first episode last week...I know, I know! I try and keep up with VD recaps for you guys as much as I can. Since I wasn't able to watch this week's episode, I don't think it's right I try to explain the episode. Here's the recap I grabbed from The Vampire Diaries Wiki:
"The episode starts immediately where the last ended.

Isobel said that it is nice to see Elena again and asked Jenna to let her in, but Elena said no and closed the door. Jenna was devastated by finding out that Elena knew that Isobel is alive all along, and went upstairs and started to cry. Later, Alaric came (Stefan and Damon told him about Isobel), but soon after Jenna exited the house. Then John told Alaric that "if he was honest with her, nothing of this would have happened". Then Alaric punched him. Elena told him that this is all his fault.

Meanwhile, Caroline phoned Stefan and told him Matt now knows about vampires, but she can't find him anywhere. Soon after, Stefan came to the Gilberts' house and talked with Elena. John called them to go downstairs. Isobel was there, and John had invited her in. She told them that she has information about Klaus. She didn't find him but she heard rumors that the doppelganger exists. She said that she also has a safehouse for Elena, but Elena refuses it.

Bonnie, Damon and Jeremy went to the Martins' house to pick up the grimoires.

Isobel came to her new house along with Frank. Katherine was also there. Isobel told her that she's been busy by talking with Klaus to spare Katherine. She also told him that she didn't find Klaus but she found one of his warlocks, Maddox." [click to continue...]

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 16: "The House Guest"

We open up with Stefan and Elena being all lovey dovey while Elena protests to go back to that thing they call school. Damon attacks Elena thinking its Katherine and reveals that Katherine is out of the tomb to Elena.

Caroline talks with Matt about Tyler. Matt tells Caroline about Tyler’s goodbye to them. Matt tells Caroline to make up whether or not she wants to be with him or leave him alone.

Bonnie and Jeremy have a little rendezvous by Bonnie’s locker…making sure Elena doesn’t see of course! I love them right now!
Alaric tells Elena that unless he can be completely honest with Jenna, they’re done now.

Stefan tells Luka and his father that Elijah is dead. Stefan tells them that they know their plan to kill Klaus and offers a truce to help.

Katherine tells Damon that when a witch dies, they leave a mystical energy on where they live. Stefan reveals that if the witches can channel enough power, they won’t need a dagger. Hence, the burial ground Elijah was looking out in last week’s episode.

Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline (doppelganger, witch, and vampire) have a girls’ night! They talk Jenna into telling about how she felt about Alaric keeping things. She’s not happy of course!

Luka and his dad cast a spell to see into the Salvatore’s’ home. Luka goes off to see where Elijah is staying. Katherine goes down to the cooler where the blood is stored and senses something. Katherine sees the knife starting to pull out of Elijah’s body. She tries to keep the dagger in the chest, but is soon stabbed with a wooden stake by Luka. Damon comes in time and let’s Luka flame up! Luka’s father tries to save him, but sees he is too badly burned.

I guess its secret central because Caroline and Alaric come to turns that maybe keeping secrets isn’t the best thing for them, but it’s for the best for the ones they love. Caroline goes on stage after a band’s set and confesses that she still has feelings for Matt…with song. Wasn’t that bad, actually. And, it was ended with a lovely “Kiss the girl!” kiss.

Katherine reveals that she conspired with John Gilbert and said that only Stefan or Damon would live. She picked Stefan. Damon walks away, hurt in his own way.

Elena approves of Bonnie and Jeremy going out. Squee!
Jonas goes to the concert where he goes on a rampage to try and get Elena to help get his daughter back. He lights the building on fire. Matt tries to save Caroline, but gets stabbed with a glass bottle by Jonas. Caroline feeds Matt her blood and Katherine kills Jonas…or not. Ok, yes, he did.

Jeremy and Bonnie kiss for the second time! Bonnie touches Jeremy’s heart and sees she has her powers back…and that Jonas wants her to kill Klaus.

Damon rejects Katherine’s seducing! Love you right now too, Damon!

Caroline reveals to Matt that she’s a vampire. Matt remembers what Vicky said about vampires and accuses Caroline of doing something to her.

We end with Isabelle telling Jenna she’s Elena’s biological mother.

Peace and Fangs,
Alisha

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 15: "Dinner Party"

We begin the episode back at the Gilberts' lake house where Elena reads Jonathan Gilbert's journal. The episode flashes back to the days Jonathan Gilbert was alive and we see a ferocious vampire killing two of the Fells. We see that the ferocious vampire is none other than Stefan. We go back to Elena where she sees Stefan out by the lake. Mmm....romantic.
Stefan then goes on to tell Elena that he was a monster and that it was easy for him to kill because there was a war during the time. He didn't stop until Lexi, his best friend, showed him love and humanity. He asks Elena to do the same and not give up on her life, but fight for it.

We see Jenna showing Elijah old witch grounds he is looking to buy, I'm guessing. Alaric shows up to make sure Jenna is not hurt. At the Mystic Grill, Elijah runs into Damon and Alaric. Damon's girlfriend mentions that they should have a dinner party and Damon happily invites Elijah.
At the dinner party, Damon prepares a stake with ashwood. He tells Alaric he will kill Elijah. Once Elijah arrives, Elijah warns Damon of his promise to Elena and that is that if Damon tries to kill him, he will kill everyone in the house: Damon, Alaric, Jenna, and Damon's girlfriend.

In Jonathan's journal, it says that if a vampire were to kill an Original with a dagger and take it out, they die as well. It becomes prevelant that John Gilbert (Elena's biological dad) wanted Damon to kill Elijah because then he would die too. Stefan calls Damon to warn him, but Alaric picks up. Alaric then warns Damon of what will happen. Alaric takes it upon himself to kill Elijah and stabs him with the dagger. They take the body outside, but Elijah's body disappears. Elena reads in the journal that to really kill an Original, you must not remove the dagger or the Original will come back to life.

Elijah goes to Jonas and asks where Elena is. Jonas realizes what Bonnie had done to his son and goes to Jeremy's house where he and Bonnie are practicing spells. Jonas pins Jeremy to the wall and takes Bonnie's powers away.
John convinces Alaric to give him his ring when Jenna starts questioning Alaric about Isobel.

Elijah appears at the Gilberts' lake house and tells Elena that their deal is off and threatens that even though he is not invited in, he will wait them out. Elena tells him to renegoiate or else she'll stab herself, have Stefan feed her his blood, and then kill herself like Katherine had done to become a vampire. Once she is a vampire, she is longer no use to Elijah. Elijah calls her bluff and Elena stabs herself. Elijah gives his word and begs for her to let him heal her. She falls into his arms and stabs him with the dagger. He falls to the ground, dead. Stefan and Damon appear and look at the now dead, Elijah. They drag him to the basement and Elena tells the guys that they need to start doing things her way if she is going to fight. They both agree.

Damon finds Katherine in his shower. The compulsion to stay in the tomb wore off with Elijah's death. She says that she will stay to help protect Elena.

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 14: "Crying Wolf"

I'm still getting over the twists and turns of this episode. But, I am here for you guys to recap on this week's episode!

We start off with Elena waking up from her awesome sleepover with Caroline and Bonnie. She tells Stefan that they should get away from the all the chaos. He agrees and they get ready to leave for the Gilbert's cabin. When they reach the cabin, Elena remembers that the last time she was there, she was with her parents. She assures Stefan she's OK and they head inside, even though they have no idea that Brady and Tyler have followed them.
Tyler learns the sun and moon curse. If you don't know, it was a curse on vampires and werewolves. Vampires have to walk in the night and werewolves will always change during a full moon. If the vampires have the moonstone, they can fix the curse on them, but the werewolves will still change during full moons. If the werewolves recieve the moonstone, then the vampires are forced to be nightwalkers and the werewolves can change at will, which also means they don't have to change at all.
Jenna is starting to worry that Alaric isn't being honest. Damon attends a tea where the guest of honor is Elijah. Damon tries to speak with him, but doesn't get any answers. He gets himself stabbed in the neck along the way as well.

At the Mystic Grill, Bonnie drugs Luka and takes him to a Circle. She goes to drastic measures and magic to recieve answers from him. Luka reveals that Elena made a deal with Elijah to make sure that her loved ones were safe...not her.

Damon is tortured by Jules and a few of her werewolf buddies. Elijah essentially saves him (killing all of the werewolves) and notes that that is the third time he has saved him. They realize Jules has ran for her life, but don't really care. At the Gilbert's cabin, Brady tries to attack Elena, but is killed by Stefan. Stefan reveals the reason why Brady needs Elena to Tyler and Tyler apologizes to Elena that he didn't know they were going to kill her.
Here's my favorite part....BONNIE AND JEREMY KISS! Bonnie finally reveals her feelings to Jeremy and they kissed! My heart sang more than Bonnie's! Finally, these two can start the relationship thing because I am waiting for it!

Tyler goes to Matt and tells him nothing is going on and that Caroline loves him. He leaves Mystic Falls with Jules, who is single now.

Tell me what you thought of this week's episode!

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 13: "Daddy Issues"

We saw in the last episode that Tyler finds out that there are more vampires than just Caroline. This episode, we see Tyler confront Caroline about Mason's death. Tyler is angry because Caroline kept Mason's death a secret from him. Jenna is angry when she finds out that John Gilbert is Elena's biological father. Jules, a "evil" werewolf, meets up with her feisty wolf lover, Brady, and tells him she wants to leave with Tyler and run.

Caroline is taken hostage by Jules after she is sprayed with vervain, while Stefan is trying to reason with Tyler. Jules calls Stefan and tells him to bring Tyler in exchange for Caroline. Stefan tells Elena to brief Damon on the situation and Damon tells John to watch Elena. Elena and John have a talk and Elena makes it apparent that John might be her dad, but she is not her daughter. Stefan goes to Brady's RV where they are keeping Caroline with Tyler in tow. Damon shows up just in the knick of time. Jules calls out her wolf friends to attack, but they are no match for Stefan and Damon. Damon and Stefan take out a good chunk of the werewolves.

Tyler finds Caroline in a cage and reluctantly releases her. She runs out and is caught by Jules. Damon and Stefan are about to be stake, while Tyler just stares at Caroline. Jonas appears on Elijah's behalf and causes the werewolves to hhear a high pitch sound. Jonas tells Tyler to tell his friends to get "the hell of out of town". Tyler tries to apologize to Caroline, but she quickly declines and tells him they are never friends.

Later, Matt calls Caroline and asks to hang out. She lies and says she's with Bonnie, but Matt quickly sees Bonnie with Jeremy. Is anyone else giddy over at?

Tyler tells Brady and Jules that Mason might have been looking for the moonstone. They ask where the moonstone is, but Tyler does not know.

Damon tries to find out why John Gilbert is in Mystic Falls, but John says that he is there to protect Elena. John later reveals that the only way to kill an Original is to dip a dagger in white ashwood that dates back to the time the Originals...originated. John is then shown revealing his true slimy self and is in the tomb working with Katherine to get her out.

Tell me what you think of last week's episode!

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 12: "The Descent"

My stories are on again! It's seemed like forever since I have watched my stories and I am raving still over the comback it has made. Let's get to the recapping:

We start off with seeing Jules, who we saw Damon toe-to-toe with in the early episodes, at a campsite...naked. She sees what she has done from when she was a werewolf. Just as she's about to burn the bodies evidence, a ranger pulls up. What's for her to do? Kill him.

Now that Stefan is out of the tomb because of Elena's deal with Elijah, they get to meet up. Elena assures Stefan that they're safe because Katherine is imprisoned in the tomb. She takes some vervane and so does Stefan.

We see Rose telling Damon that she's scared of dying because of the werewolf bite she has gotten. Damon lies, when he sees the infection, that it is getting better when it looks horrible. Elena asks Damon if she will die and Damon says coldly that she probably will.

Caroline congratulates Tyler for not hurting or killing anyone on his first transformation. Tyler is still sort of shaken over what happened. She then notifies him that if he bites her, it's over for her. He asks where she found that out and she lies by telling him she read it in a book. Matt comes up to her and kisses her, and Caroline strangely pulls away and says she can't.

Elena takes Rose into Damon's bedroom is amazed by Damon's room. Rose notes that Elena has never been in there before. (It was a really nice room.) Rose starts to vomit blood and Elena goes to the bathroom to grab something to clean up with. When she goes back to the room, Rose isn't in the bed and Rose pops out and tries to attack Elena. Elena tells her that she isn't Katherine and Rose comes back to normal.

Damon goes to see Jules and tries to ask how to cure a werewolf bite. She tells him in detail the pain Rose will go through and tells him that the only cure is to run a stake through her heart.

Rose goes koo koo for cocoa puffs and starts to raid the Salvatore blood supply. When Elena finds her, she attacks her and runs away from the house. She attacks a man who was taking out garbage. After the kill, Damon finds Rose and she finally comes back. He tries to console Rose in his bed, but she seems to really be gone.

Matt asks Caroline what is going on, but she won't tell him anything. Tyler meets her at her house and kisses her. (Yes!) She kisses him back, but says that everyone needs to stop kissing her.

Back at Damon's room, they both think of a happy hillside. Rose and Damon are human because they are out in sunlight. Rose talks about how she misses being human. Damon then takes a stake and positions it over her heart. With a shed of a tear, Damon stakes Rose. he then takes it to Sheriff Forbes and tells her that he will bury the body.

Jules meets up with Tyler and tells him that Caroline isn't the only vampire in Mystic Falls. She says that she is his friend and that there are more like them on the way.

Elena tries to see how Damon is and after he is cold and distant. Finally, he breaks down and tells Elena that he is upset because Jules is coming after him and Rose paid the price. Elena goes home and sees that Stefan is there...with her Uncle John?!

At the end of the episode, we see a girl stop off in the middle of the road where a man is lying. She goes to see if he's OK and he gets up and we see it's Damon. And, yes, the boy has been drinking...a lot. He is saying that this si what he was and this is what he has to be. He then let's her go, but catches her and starts to feed. We see Damon's vampiric face.

What did you think of the episode? Tell me your thoughts!

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 10: "The Sacrifice"

Thanksgiving has passed and now we are back with a new episode of the Hot and Immortal! I almost forgot about this episode because of the holidays, but I caught it and I am here to fill you in on the new VD gossip!

While sleeping, Elena wakes up to a weird noise and goes to check out the sound. "Sadly", she runs into the shirtless Alaric eating Chunky Monkey from which seemed to be a cozy night with Jenna. The real noise came from Dr. Jonas Martin, Luka's father, who grabbed Elena's hairbrush, jewelry, and picture. I'm guessing he's pulling a Riley!
Damon and Stefan think of ways of how to get the moonstone away from Katherine to take off the "we can't go out in sunlight" curse. Katherine offers her help, but wants to make a deal that they will let her out and she will leave Mystic Falls forever. They don't comply with her.

Bonnie and Luka grow closer over their abilities. Bonnie confesses to Luka that she has trouble with her powers like with nosebleeds and fainting. Luka tells her about "channeling"; they swap their jewelry and create a windstorm together. Just as Luka is leaving, Jeremy magically appears while Bonnie is still holding Luka's dog tags.

At the Salvatore home, Bonnie tells Damon and Stefan she is able to temporarily take down the wall to the tomb. She then takes Katherine's picture and turns it into ask to incapacitate Katherine momentarily. After she does so, Jeremy takes a fistful of it without anyone looking.

Jeremy goes to the tomb alone because he knows how hard it is for Bonnie to do some magic. Jeremy throws the ash into Katherine's face. He goes into the tomb to grab the moonstone, but is stopped short when Katherine regains consciousness. He throws the moonstone outside of the tomb just in time for Stefan, Damon, and Bonnie to arrive. Luckily, I think, Jeremy has one of the special rings, so he could be drained by Katherine many times and never die. But, Katherine says the only way she will let Jeremy go is if they let her go.

Elena takes Rose with her to Slater's. Once they arrive, they find out that Slater is dead and they try to get help from his girlfriend, Alice. Elena asks Alice to send Cody, one of Slater's acquaintances, an E-mail saying that "the doppelganger is going to surrender". Rose sees that Elena is going to sacrifice herself and calls Damon for back up. He tries to get her to leave, but she refuses.

We go back to Jonas, who we see, wanted Elena's belongings to do magic on for Elijah. Elena sees Elijah in the reflection of the window for a split second because of a weird sort of "GPS magic" thingy. Elijah then enters Slater's apartment and Rose disappears. Once Elijah sees Elena is still alive, he leaves as well.

Back at the tomb, Bonnie tries to break down the wall of the tomb using both her's and a very confused Luka's powers but can not and causes them both to collapse. Katherine threatens to drink from Jeremy again if they don't get her out, but Stefan jumps into the tomb and pushes Jeremy out of the way causing him to be stuck in the tomb with Katherine.

Jonas helps Luka to bed after he collapses and goes to Elijah who says he spared Damon. He says he knows Damon will keep Elena safe, which is exactly what he wants until they need her. For the first time, Jonas doesn't seem too keen on the plan.

Bonnie and Jeremy go back to his house where they are both mad at each other for what happened. Jeremy tries to make Bonnie come to terms with her feelings for him, but she won't. He tries to then kiss her but she turns her head away and leaves. Damon brings Elena home where she learns about what happened to Stefan. She races to the tomb where Damon tells her to leave and he will think of a way to get him out. Once she leaves, Stefan steps out from the depths of the tomb and asks Damon to keep Elena away from the tomb.

During the whole episode, we see Caroline and Tyler figure out how badly the Change is by watching Mason's Change and reading his journal which chronicled everything. Caroline and Tyler bond over how horrible they felt when they hurt people and so forth. The doorbell ring and Matt says that he was driving home from work and ended up there. Um, am I the only one squeeing? The short romance ends when Tyler steps out on the porch with the two of them and making Matt think that Caroline and Tyler are together.

Check out next week's episode:

That better not be what I think it is, Stefan! Guess we'll have to tune in next week!

Vampire Diaries--Season 2, Episode 9: "Katerina"

(Jeremy, I'll glance back curiously with you any day.)

Very long post today, I bolded all the key points in each paragraph:

We flashback to 1490 in Bulgaria, where we see Katerina giving birth in her bed. Once her child is born, her father takes it away and accuses her of disgracing their family. She begs her mother to get the baby back but all her mother tells her is to let the child go.

We then go to the present where Elena arrives at the Salvatore house after Stefan calls. The group--Damon, Stefan, Elena, and Rose--gather and discuss Klaus. Rose admits she doesn't know what's true and what's false. Damon says that Klaus is one of the oldest vampires in history. Elena is worried why the oldest vampire is after her but Stefan reassures her that no one is after her. Rose goes on to say that Klaus always gets what he wants and anyone who is not scared of Klaus is an idiot. Elena then announces she has to go to school. Stefan offers to take her but she declines and leaves.

At school, the flirting begins! Jeremy asks Bonnie to shoot some pool at the Mystic Grill with him that afternoon. She is hesitant at first because he is Elena's younger brother but she agrees in the end. The flirting is interrupted when a new student, Luka, walks up to them and asks for directions to the office. We see there is a connection between Luka and Bonnie...so can Jeremy. Jeremy offers to take Luka to the office and they leave.

Elena is walking through the woods with Caroline and tells her to not tell Stefan about what she is doing. She enters the tomb, where Katherine is. She tells Caroline that she needs to talk to Katherine. Caroline points out that Katherine lies about everything but Elena counters back that Katherine knows the truth about Klaus. Caroline opens the tomb for Elena and Elena calls out to Katherine. We see a weak Katherine stumble into view and greets Elena.

After Caroline leaves, Elena and Katherine talk about Klaus after Elena gives Katherine a book of her family history and a cup of blood. Katherina admits that she met Klaus in England. Her family threw her out and she fled to England. There she met Klaus who she was smitten with until she found out what he was and what he wanted. We flashback to where we see Katherine hiding from a group of men while Elijah shouts that he can smell her blood and it's no use of running from Klaus. Trevor leads the group away and catches up to Katherine where he tells her to go to a cottage where she will be safe. Elena asks what Klaus wanted and Katherine tells her what he wants from Elena, to end the curse. Elena then realises that Katherine was a doppelganger too.

In the Salvatore house, Damon and Rose discuss Damon's feelings for Elena. He denies being in love with her while Rose does not believe it. Damon then asks where they can find Klaus. Rose admits it is not simple and says she found Elijah through someone called Slater in Richmond. Rose says she can't go out in sunlight, but Damon tells her to drive.

At school, Caroline sees Stefan leaving and goes up to him. He says that he heard Elena is sick and he was going to check on her. She tells him not to and says they need to talk about it later. She then reveals that she told Tyler she is a vampire.

In the tomb, Elena asks what Klaus wants with the Petrova bloodline. Katherine says that the curse was bound with a Petrova blood sacrifice. She says that the doppelganger was a way to undo the curse. We then flashback to Katherine arriving at the cottage where an old woman refuses to help her. Rose appears and compels the woman to let them in. Katherine shows her the moonstone and Rose asks where she got it. Katherine admits that she knew it was for the ritual and grabbed it before escaping. Rose warns that no one gets away from Klaus and he kills anyone who tries to and anyone who helps them. She says she will take Katherine back to him and plead for him to have mercy on them.

Elena points out that Rose couldn't have taken Katherine back to Klaus, Katherine admits that is true but it wasn't because Rose had a change of heart. We see Rose come back to the cottage to take Katherine to Klaus. Katherine says she tripped in the woods when Rose sees her bleeding but Rose sees she stabbed herself. Katherine admits that she rather die than go back to Klaus. Rose won't let Katherine die because that would mean Trevor would be in danger, so she feeds Katherine her blood. When Trevor arrives, Rose confronts him about the danger he has put them in but he says he does not care because he is in love with Katherine and won't take her back to Klaus. They hear a noise in the other room and go in to see Katherine hanging to make herself into a vampire because if she wasn't human, she would be no use to Klaus. Elena then sees that Katherine has been running from Klaus ever since, Katherine says that she underestimated Klaus' vengeance. Katherine sees Elena's shocked face and offers her blood because she's scared to die, but Elena won't take it. We go to the flashback where Trevor asks what Katherine has done and that he could have helped her live. She says that he would have only let her run and that wasn't enough. Rose tries to stake her but instead stakes the old woman before Katherine drinks from her. Rose tells Katherine that she has signed their death sentence and she says, "Better you than I." Elena is shocked by what Katherine did but Katherine just suggests that Elena look out for herself like she did.

Caroline and Stefan go to the Mystic Grill where they talk about Tyler. Caroline says she didn't tell Tyler much and asks Stefan if he is mad at her. He says yes but he won't tell Damon because he will kill her. Caroline tells Stefan that Tyler is worrying about what will happen the next full moon. On the other side of the bar, Bonnie enters to meet up with Jeremy but finds Luka and his father there. She sits down with them for a quick second and finds out that they moved up from Louisiana and that they know her family that lived in Salem. Jeremy makes his entrance and Bonnie leaves with him.

In Richmond, Damon and Rose talk to Slater about how Elijah is dead. Rose asks how they can get in touch with Klaus and Slater says that they should use Craigslist. (Really?) He says he got in touch with Elijah by setting up a personal ad but his search has ended because Elijah is dead (so they think). Outside, Elijah appears.

Jeremy and Bonnie are finally getting their flirt on while playing pool until Luka interrupts (again!) and says his dad has left. Stefan announces to Caroline that he is leaving and she tries to make him stay. He demands answers as to where Elena is but she does not give him any.

Back in the tomb, Elena asks Katherine how much of the story is real...Katherine counters back with saying why would she lie. Elena realizes what Katherine has done. She came to Mystic Falls because she was going to hand over Elena (a doppelganger) to Klaus. Elena soon finds out that you need a vampire, a werewolf, and a vampire to undo the curse. Elena is shocked over Katherine giving them all up but Katherine simply replies, "Better you than I." Katherine then goes into the darkness of the tomb.

In Richmond, Damon points out that some of the vampires must know about the "day rings" and asks why the originals want to get rid of the sun/night curse. Slater replies that if a vampire breaks the sun curse, werewolves would still be stuck in the night curse. Elijah still listens outside while playing with his coins. Damon then asks if they could render the moonstone useless, Slater says it is possible but asks why. Damon comments that it could tick off the originals that they can not walk in the day. Elijah then throws the coin into the window, the window shatters and brings in the UV that it kept out. The vampires fall to the ground and start to burn, Damon does not because of his sun ring. He finds Rose and covers her with his jacket to bring her back to the parking garage. She asks where Slater is and that he wouldn't betray her. That it is Klaus doing this and they're all dead.

Back at Mystic Grill, Bonnie watches Jeremy play pool as Luka talks to her. He apologises for his dad being to blunt about her family's whereabouts. Bonnie admits that she felt something, Luka then reveals that he is a warlock by hovering salt over the table with his hand. As they continue to talk, Jeremy looks over at them and then decides to leave.

Stefan arrives at the tomb and reassures Elena that Caroline didn't say anything but it didn't take him long to figure out. He tells Elena to disregard anything Katherine has said and it is all a lie. He tells Elena that he will protect her but Elena says that she knows he won't but he will die trying, why is that any better? Katherine appears again and tells Stefan that there's nothing he can do and that she hasn't even told the best part yet. We flashback to Bulgaria 1492 where Katherine arrives back at her home. She goes into the house and see her whole family has been killed. Katherine says that Klaus always gets his vengeance and your friends, family, and loved ones. Katherine tells Stefan that Elena is doomed unless she has the moonstone which Katherine has. Stefan calls Katherine a "manipulative psychotic bitch". Katherine then goes on to say that she doesn't want her freedom because when Klaus comes to kill them all, she will be in the tomb where no vampire would go into because they would not be able to get back out. So, she will be the safest "psycho-bitch in town". Stefan takes Elena home but she doesn't want to talk about it. Stefan pleads with her and Elena confesses that everyone she knows and loves is in danger because of her, it's all her fault. Stefan hugs her while Katherine, back in the tomb, reads her family history and becomes tearful when she finds a picture of her parents.

In the Salvatore house, Rose apologises for what happened today to Damon. Rose wishes that they could save Elena and that Damon wants to. The pair toast to friendship and Rose says that it's good that Damon is pushing back his feelings for Elena, it's not good to love anyone when you're trying to survive. Rose tells Damon to turn off his emotions and he agrees if she does the same. They kiss and eventually have sex. Rose admits that their is no switch of your emotions. Her phone rings and Slater apologises for leaving the cafe earlier before telling her that to destroy the curse, they need the moonstone. Once they get the moonstone, find a witch and they would know what to do.

After Slater hangs up, Elijah applauds him. Slater asks how Elijah can compel him because vampires can't compel other vampires. Elijah comments that he is a special kind of vampire. Slater asks if he is an original but Elijah compels Slater and makes him kill himself. After brief hesitation, Slater kills himself. Luka's father then appears and asks if that was necessary. Elijah replies, "It had to be done. He delivered his message. It won't be long now."

Lots of details this week! I hope next week reveals a lot of more answers and more drama! Tell me your thoughts on everything that happened! Bonnie and Jeremy? Damon and Rose? Stefan and Elena? Katherine's history? Klaus? Will Elena turn into a vampire like Katherine?

Here is a snippet of next week's episode:
