REVIEW: MERIDIAN

Synopsis:

This book isn’t really in my fallen angels’ category because she is a girl born from a human mother and father, so Meridian does not qualify in that category at all. The book was original in every sense of the word due to its rapidly dramatic start and the “hide & seek” mystery information Amber Kizer throw at you through out the whole book. The plot of the story is about a girl finding her self and the role she plays in the world. I found it to be an old steady plot but one that is universally understood by everyone. The Fenestra (Window to the Afterlife) essence was one that I found to be an almost human and believable. I give Kizer two thumbs up for it.

Meridian’s ancestry was completely fascinating to me. The romance between Meridian and Tens was one that happens every day but Kizer still keep it fresh. I was surprise to find a new band of villains that I heated and feared more then the “Volturi”. The Aternocti were bad to the bone quit literally. The main thing that I like about this book was its human aspects with in its fantasy realm. The other was that Meridian is a “Shorty” just like me and Tens in his “Tall as a skyscraper” height is still in love with her. Two Thumbs way.. way up for Kizer from all us “Shorty”. In the end I would give this book a three out of four nail polishes because it doesn’t built up to things it just rushes into them, but still a good read.
