The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Book 1 (Whole Review)

Suddenly able to see demons and the Shadowhunters who are dedicated to returning them to their own dimension, fifteen-year-old Clary Fray is drawn into this bizarre world when her mother disappears and Clary herself is almost killed by a monster. Google Book Result
Sadly, I couldn't go along with my reading schedule and I read the whole thing over this weekend. Sorry. It was so...AWESOME, I couldn't help but read it all. Please forgive me!
But, I will review the rest of wha I read! First off, I have to say that this book is truly messed up amazing. There are spoilers in this book that I had to drop my jaw at. I won't tell what they are but OH MY GOODNESS, I will say that I wished Jace and Clary could be together. I will also say that I am still iffie about Simon. I don't know what he wants from Clary, sometimes it seems as though he loves Clary and other times as though he doesn't. I'm glad they got on good terms with one another but now that I learned a certain new fact about Clary and Jace...or should I say Jonathan, I guess Simon and Clary should be together. Keyword: guess. The book was AH-mazing when it came to the plot line and the jaw-droppers and the action and tension but I was kind of disappointed at what was supposed to be the climax. To me, it was sort of a let down. I don't want to say a lot because I truly recommend you all reading this book series because it does give a lot of dips and turns and in all, it is a really great series. I am reading the next book, City of Ashes.

I give this book a four out of four nail polishes because of the amazing characters, the interesting plot, and the cliff-hanger ending. LOVED this book!

I have looked into it by the way and saw that the Mortal Instruments series will be turned into a movie! Can't wait for it and I'll try and keep you guys posted with this info!
