Harry Potter DVD Release (FINALLY!)

Finally! The DVD has finally come out for HP and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. My sister and I have been patiently squeezing our stress balls waiting for this thing to come out! Now, we can sleep well tonight because it has.

There is a double-disc which I'm excited about. Here is some of what is expected of the features:
"The 2-disk DVD comes with a special features disk which gives us an insight both into the technical sides of filming (the Seven Potters sequence is disected both in terms of special effects and performance) and the behind-the-scenes bonds that have been created over the years between the cast who have all grown up together.... Watching Rupert, Tom, James and Oliver talk about their memories, while on a golfing weekend, allows the watcher to look back as well, sharing with them a sense of finality, with happy memories but also an acknowledgement of the sadness of parting...."
As well as looking at the cast and seeing how the movies were shot, viewers also get a look into deleted scenes in the DVD like the departing scenes of Dudley and Petunia. Other special features are a soundtrack for the movie, "a film about Dan, Rupert and Emma's running competition while on location shooting the Snatcher chase," and a trailer for the Wizarind World of HP.

If you want something more simpler, you can look at the single-disc DVD which just includes the movie and additional scenes. And, for deeper HP fans, there is a three-disc Blu-ray combo pack and a box set of the seven movies so far! You can buy any of these over here.

If you've bought it, please tell me what you think of it!

Peace and Fangs,
Alisha
