Celeste Parker is used to hearing scary stories about werewolves- Legend's Run is famous for them. She's used to everything in the small town until Brandon Maddox moves to Legend's Run and Celeste finds herself immediately drawn to the handsome new student. But when, after an unnerving visit with a psychic, she encounters a pack of wolves and gorgeous, enigmatic Brandon, she must discover whether his transformation is more than a legend or just a trick of the shadows in the moonlight. Her best friends may never forgive her is she gives up her perfect boyfriend, Nash, for Brandon, who's from the wrong side of town. But she can't deny her attraction or the strong pull he has on her. Brandon may be Celeste's hero, or he may be the most dangerous creature she could encounter in the woods of Legend's Run. Psychic predictions, generations-old secrets, a town divided, and the possibility of falling in love with a hot and heroic werewolf are the perfect formula for what happens... once in a full moon."
Plot: The plot was very overused in my opinion. I have read this many times. Though, I did enjoy it, and that's why I bought it in the first place. I can read something lots of times. If you have no problem reading plots that you've read before many times, then you'll like it!Main Character: I really liked Celeste. She is a volunteer, a writer, and a daydreamer. She actually reminded me of... well, me! The only thing about her is that she seemed to be sending mixed signals to Nash, and that bothered me.
Cover: I didn't care for the cover as much. I never really like it when they have a person on it, but I liked the font and the background.
Overall Rating: I liked it, but it was very overplayed and I've read lots of books about the same thing. I liked the characters, and I could picture it as me and my friends perfectly. Not to mention, I loved Brandon! I really can't decide if it should be a 2 or a 3 (sometimes I wish I could rate it in between...) But I think it will be a two. I recommend this, but not for those who are picky about what they read.
